Yeah, yeah, I haven’t updated a blog post here in a long time. A fan pinged me yesterday and asked where the updates on things were here and that because they didn’t see anything, I must not be writing anymore. Well, that’s not true so here’s a breakdown of things as they stand now.
We completed the Four Horsemen Universe’s first main storyline. I contributed fifteen novels to the storyline and universe creators Mark Wandrey and Chris Kennedy wrapped up the storyline in A Silence In Heaven. However, over the last few weeks Chris and I have created a vision and launched what we’re calling the Four Horsemen Universe 2.0. I will have more information both in my newsletter and here as a post soon. It’s pretty exciting and we’re already attracting some of the finest science ficition authors around to participate.
For The Buzzer War, there’s more news. After completing the first six-book storyline with Against The Swarm, I knew where the story needed to go, but it needed some connective tissue. To that end, I recently completed a standalone novel in the universe that is now with my first reader/editor and should be turned in to Aethon Books by the end of the summer. I am also preparing to get started on the first of two trilogies to wrap up the campaign to re-take the planet Haven and end this phase of the Buzzer War. Yes, there’s quite a bit more to come.

I recently attended LibertyCon in Chattanooga, Tennessee – the finest family reunion that doubles as a literary convention ever. Had the opportunity to share the first chapters of Steel On Target and a new unpublished short story with a reading, had multiple panels with great authors and professionals, and even taught in the STEM track. It’s a wonderful event and I’m looking forward to attending in 2027 as well.
So, yes, I’ve been busy and the second half of 2026 is going to be even busier. Many things to write, many things to do. Follow me on the newsletter for more frequent updates!
